christine peteson spearfish,sd hey my name is christine peterson. I am twleve years old and i'm geing fucked with at school cause i'm anti-war. i've gotten called a hippie and a "judge" (because i hate them for the way they all think as a group and never have an intelligent opinion of their own) i just reply that i do not accept comments from fascists- they're always saying stuff like "just nuke those iraqi terrorists" and "bomb the hell out of those camel jockies" and stuff. i also participated in WEARING MY CONVICTIONS ON MY SLEEVE one of my best friends, Nick, chickend out on me cause his dad said he would get grounded if he wore a white armband. i didn't get in trouble with anybody at school but there were only about 15 people who participated ( mostly sixth and eighth graders) my mom's also giving me shit she's all pro- war and saying how i don't know enough about war to have an opinion, but i know enough to say that i am against it. she started yelling at me for printing out protest papers saying that i was killing people and stuff by being ANTI-WAR. my brother, billy (14) stood up for me though saying how she can't control the way i think and that she should just let me have my own opinion on things. i havn't had the opportunity to participate in any protests being in a small town in south dakota it's hard to get many to participate... love-peace-unity, christine peteson of spearfish,sd |
